Housen Chen

Housen Chen founded Swimmetrix along with Alex Chen in 2025, and is currently the Chief Technology Officer.

Housen leads the technical development of the StrokeLab series of swim analysis software, building features that help swimmers and coaches break down races, understand performance patterns, and use data to improve strategy. He is also involved in developing upcoming Swimmetrix products behind the scenes, helping expand the company’s platform beyond race analysis and into broader performance insight tools.

Housen is an active member of the swimming community, swimming at Austin Swim Club. He also serves as a member of the South Texas Swimming Governance Committee, where he brings a swimmer’s perspective to leadership and decision-making within his sport.

Outside of swimming, Housen is a cellist at Westlake High School, a member of the 2025-2026 TMEA All-Region Orchestra.
