Swimmetrix website
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 28, 2026
This policy explains the limited information involved when you visit the Swimmetrix company website at swimmetrix.net. Swimmetrix develops swimming-analysis products, including StrokeLab, but the company website and those products do not handle the same data.
Important distinction: the Swimmetrix website is an informational site. It does not offer accounts, accept race videos, store swim analyses, or operate StrokeLab's Google sign-in and cloud-sync features.
StrokeLab is a product of Swimmetrix hosted separately at strokelab.swimmetrix.net. StrokeLab's collection and use of account and analysis data are covered by the StrokeLab Privacy Policy, not this website policy.
1.Scope
This policy applies only to the public pages and files served from swimmetrix.net. It does not govern StrokeLab, Poe, OmniCoach on Poe, or another third-party site or service reached through a link. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.
2.Information involved
The website has no registration, purchase, upload, analytics, or web-contact form. Swimmetrix does not use the website to ask visitors for names, account credentials, race data, or payment information.
Like nearly every website, the hosting and content-delivery systems that deliver the site may automatically process ordinary technical request data. This can include an IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser and device type, and security or error information. If you email us using the displayed email link, we receive the address, message, and other information you choose to include.
3.How information is used
Technical information may be used to deliver the requested pages, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and understand basic service reliability. Information sent by email is used to respond to the message, provide support, keep necessary business records, and protect our rights and users.
Swimmetrix does not sell personal information or use information from the company website for behavioral advertising.
4.Cookies and browser storage
The Swimmetrix website does not currently set its own analytics or advertising cookies and does not use browser storage to build visitor profiles. Infrastructure providers may use limited technical mechanisms needed to deliver and secure their services. If Swimmetrix adds analytics, advertising, or other material tracking later, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested where required.
5.Service providers and outside links
The site relies on a web-hosting provider to serve its pages and on Tailwind's content-delivery network to load interface code. Those providers may receive standard request data when your browser connects to them.
The site links to StrokeLab and to OmniCoach on Poe. Following a link sends you to a separate service. In particular, Swimmetrix does not automatically send website visitor data or StrokeLab analysis data to Poe. Information you choose to submit directly to Poe is handled under Poe's own terms and privacy practices.
7.Retention
Swimmetrix keeps email correspondence and related business records only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Hosting and delivery providers may retain technical logs under their own retention practices. Because the public website does not maintain visitor accounts, there is no website account profile for Swimmetrix to delete.
8.Your choices and requests
You may choose not to email us or follow links to other services. Browser controls may block third-party resources, although this can affect how the site appears. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information that Swimmetrix holds about you by using the contact information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9.Children's privacy
The Swimmetrix website is a general-audience informational site and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A child should not email personal information to Swimmetrix without permission from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the website, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
10.Security and international use
Swimmetrix uses reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or transmission method is completely secure. Visitors outside the United States understand that technical or submitted information may be processed in the United States or other places where relevant providers operate.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or applicable requirements change. The date above will show when the policy was last revised. If a change materially affects how the website handles personal information, we will provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate or legally required.
12.Contact
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to swimmetrix@outlook.com.
